“The Atypical Family” and “Beauty and Mr. Romantic” Achieve Record-Breaking Viewership Ratings!

Last night was a big night for K-drama fans as both JTBC’s “The Atypical Family” and KBS 2TV’s “Beauty and Mr. Romantic” reached new all-time highs in viewership ratings!

“The Atypical Family” aired its fourth episode on May 12 and achieved its highest viewership ratings yet. The fantasy romance scored an average nationwide rating of 4.1 percent, marking a new personal record for the show, according to Nielsen Korea.

Not to be outdone, “Beauty and Mr. Romantic” also soared to its highest ratings to date, becoming the most-watched program of any kind to air on Sunday with an average nationwide rating of 18.3 percent.

In addition, tvN’s “The Midnight Romance in Hagwon” maintained its first-place position in its time slot across all cable channels with an average nationwide rating of 5.2 percent for its second episode.

Meanwhile, MBN’s “Missing Crown Prince” wrapped up the first half of its run with an average nationwide rating of 3.1 percent.
