Review: Loved Flint and Sutton! Flint is a rock star who has just lost his brother in an accident. Sutton is an actress trying to spice up her image. Their managers fix them up to fake date. Can they help fix the other? Enjoyed the side characters too. New to me author. I will be reading more!

Title: What a great start for a new series
Review: I’m going to love this series if all the books are as good as the first. Sutton has been knocked around, taken advantage of, and pretty much been a doormat for most of her life. Flint is a mess, wrecked and unable to cope with the death of his brother – to the point of being unable to play his music, much less write anything new. But when these two come together as a publicity stunt, the world changes for both. There is a HEA at the end and it’s a beautiful story, beautifully written with beautiful characters. I’m eager for the next book to be released.

Title: Decent first read of this author
Review: I really enjoyed the plot, something new for a rockstar romance. The banter between Sutton and Flint was great and the relationship evolved from forced to organic. Negatives – Pacing felt off in some parts. The voice of Flint’s POV and actions in areas were hard to differentiate from Sutton. Looking forward to reading the next one in the series.

Title: I loved it!
Review: Flint and Sutton were fantastic! This is one of those feel good romances that leaves you with a warm fuzzy feeling. It was mildly angsty and had lots of spicy times. The story was entertaining and I really enjoyed it. I loved both Sutton and Flint. Especially Flint. He was so broken and I loved watching him find his way back. Great story! Great characters!

Review: WOW … I loved this book! Flint and Sutton are just so perfect for each other. Flint is so broken up over his brother’s death that my heart broke for him. But I wanted to give his parent a kick in the butt … even though they lost a son, they still had one left. And Sutton’s dad … what a looser! Sutton is just a sweetheart and her peresonality warmed my heart. I found the banter between the characters to be very realistic. This book made me laugh, cry, swoon and say WTF! Then there’s the steam … off the charts. I can’t wait for the next book!Flint is a rockstar and just a few months ago he lost his brother in a car accident and he is having trouble moving on. If the band doesn’t get in the recording studio in the near future, they are going to lose their record contract, so his manager comes up with the idea of Flint to be seen with a wholesome celebrity on the red carpet at awards shows and parties. The TV show that Sutton has been on for the last six years is coming to an end. Her father was her manager and when she found out he was stealing from her, she paid him off to get out of her life. Only it left her with very little savings, so she needs to find another part soon. Her manager says she needs to be seen with someone popular to get her up front and centre at the auditions. When Flint and Sutton meet, there is an instant connection. Only this arrangement is fake and temporary.

Review: This book did it for me in so many ways! Sigh. Flint is such a sexy broken rock star and he will definitely be in my dreams tonight. Ha ha! Loved the fake relationship premise. It really worked with Sutton Summers wanting to rebrand herself.Full of spice and a fabulous read!

Review: This was such a good book! It was probably the best rockstar romance of any I had read up until the nasty fourth quarter obligatory break up. It made no sense to me. Through 3/4’s of the book the H and the h had been written as two deeply caring people who were damaged but able to communicate and care for others. Then came the break up. It didn’t make sense to me – this h who was smart, caring and loving up until she gets into a car with a drugged out producer, crashes and burns her relationship unnecessarily in a horrible, hurtful way. I never forgave her for the way she broke up with the H. It had a happy ending, but for me the romance never recovered. Such a shame. I will read others by this author. Hopefully she writes her character’s conflicts in a less toxic way in other books.

Review: A new series begins with the frontman of the Flintlocks and Sutton, a typecast actress. Due to the death of Phil, the band is paused waiting for Flint to progress through the stages of grief. A varied set of characters, new & old means there is potential for 3 more books. Both Flint & Sutton began the book repeating & expecting cycles of past errors to self sabotage. Thankfully they both make changes and become more trusting but it took quite a slow pace to get there.
