Title: My fave of the series!!
Review: One Baby Daddy (Dating by Numbers #3) by Meghan Quinn5 stars!!!“Damn the d*ck. Damn all the d*cks.”One Baby Daddy is my favourite of this series and Meghan Quinn really delivered on the heart and emotion of this book. I had quite a few tears as I gobbled this story up as my heart was so invested in this couple and the hope that despite their differences they could make a go of it. Meghan Quinn did not disappoint, Hayden Holmes was perfect in Three Blind Dates, but she blew him out the water in this book. I am sure he will be the top of many a book boyfriend list and many hearts will be swooning as his story is finally told.“If I never get to win back your heart again, at least I’ll have a piece of it in the child we share.”Hayden Holmes was our ice hockey player that went on a date with Noely but was still wrapped up in the woman that had left him behind. Hayden was pure, absolute perfection, there was nothing I didn’t love about him. He was kind, compassionate, considerate, generous and he took love seriously. He treasured his heart and didn’t give it away freely. He wanted to make sure he was making the right decisions, he wanted a relationship based on similarities, personality and connection, not what connected between the sheets. I adored this about him and he certainly goes against the grain of traditional hockey romances that grace our kindles.Adalyn was a little harder to love by the end of the book, but I did understand her misguided reasons and for those that hate “miscommunication” she may end up being a character you will begin to hate. However, I understood why and gave her the benefit of the doubt, knowing that the considerate person that she is would come to the top eventually. While some of her choices annoyed me, I knew that Meghan wouldn’t let me down in turning her character around, and she didn’t.“Don’t say anything, I don’t need an answer. I need a chance.”But what this book does bring to the table is a lot of love, a few tears and a lot of emotion. Meghan Quinn tugged at every heart string with this book in parts and had me laughing out loud in others. That is what I adore about this author, she constantly delivers a well-balanced book and places little comedic moments with perfect timing. I loved the banter, I loved the dialogue, I loved the secondary characters whom most we have all met before. The camaraderie and the friendships play a huge part in this book and the message that it represented was incredibly well received.“You’re the man I want but can’t have. The man I need to stay as far away from as possible, because there is no doubt in my mind, you’re the man who can break me, and with a baby on the way, I can’t be broken. I need to be strong.”One again, Meghan Quinn has written a winner in my book and despite our shaky heroine it represented real feelings, real knee jerk reactions and real fears. I loved this book and didn’t want to leave this couple and their friends behind. Loved it!!

Title: Good story
Review: It’s a good story, even if I found the naivete and stubbornness of the girl to be a bit hard to swallow at times. The only other problem with the book are the multiple comments made regarding nursing and/or nurses throughout the book that just don’t fit reality. For instance: in one scene, Adelyn goes straight from a 12 hr shift at the hospital to a date, without so much as changing clothes first. I am a nurse and I don’t know any nurses who would do that. Why? Because nursing is sweaty, dirty work. I would NEVER take along hospital germs to a date. In fact, I go directly home after work and don’t even stop at the store. I hate it when I see other hospital workers doing that after work. It’s nasty. We all know what we get elbows deep in, what splatters on us routinely, the gross things that there just is no dodging and I don’t know one nurse that would snuggle up with someone else without showering first. Not one. While I appreciate the shout out to nurses the author gave us in this book, I’d appreciate it more if authors would do thorough research and not assume they already know. Please, don’t think this book is accurate in any way to how nursing is. It’s not. Not by a long shot.

Title: Loved it!
Review: All the ups and downs and then the will they or won’t they hooked me from the start. After reading the agitator series I wish the ending tied in with them a bit on the family dynamic between the twins. I’m wondering if there is a book that covers after this but before the agitator series.

Title: Almost DNF….
Review: Because of Adayln I was ready to return unfinished! The issue she had with Hayden seemed convoluted. She made more of her insecurities than I think she should have. Max Monroe seems to make their female characters extreme with their insecurities, or they’re always over the top extra. That’s turn off to me. She treated Logan better than she treated Hayden. She acted like Hayden purposely hurt her. Did not see Logan had ulterior motives? And Logan couldn’t wait to tell her that Hayden got traded! That was not his business to tell And she acted like Hayden broke her heart on purpose, he didn’t break her heart. He got traded. That’s his job. She could’ve gone with him at the beginning, but she, didn’t even want to hear him out. She ends up going with him anyway that she could’ve done that when he first asked her she should’ve treated the way she was treated. Yes Logan was there for her, but he wanted her and he was like he was her friend he wanted to be more than friends that’s BS. And I still can’t stand Logan‘s ass. I hope he doesn’t get his own book. He doesn’t deserve one! Ijs

Title: I love Hayden Holmes!!!
Review: This is the third book in the Dating by Numbers series by Meghan Quinn. This book focuses on the Jock Hayden Holmes and Adalyn, the best friend of Ryder and Emma from her Binghamton series. After losing a playoff game in his rookie season Hayden decides that he needs a break and goes back to his hometown for a couple weeks just to get away and to kind of breathe. He didn’t anticipate meeting a girl that he was going to fall hard for. As you can tell by the title this book involves a pregnancy. I personally love a good pregnancy story line in a book and Meghan Quinn did fantastic with this one. I love that Hayden is so willing and ready to be the dad that he needs to be despite everything else he has going on with his life. I must say that of the three books in this series this one is my absolute favorite. When I first read about Hayden in Three Blind Dates I absolutely fell in love with him and his personality. I knew that the girl that he ended up with was going to have to be something else and Adalyn definitely is something else. She is very stubborn, and very skeptical, but not really into relationships. But the spark between the two of them, and the amount that they care for each other just UGHHHHHH it was so good.I really got up in my feels with this one, tears and all, I seriously couldnt put it down I think I finished it in like 3 hours. And when I did I really didnt want it to end. Beautiful book Meghan!

Review: If anyone needs me I’m going to be eating my feelings after this 3 time book hangover. Holy hell woman, you have gutted me, made me laugh AND cry in an entire chapter and sent me screaming at my phone. I honestly never thought I’d do that at a book. The TV? Sure, maybe. But a BOOK? WHAAAT? I’ve already recommended this series to all of my friends, then follow it an hour later asking if they’ve read it yet. Weird? Sure, sue me. Hands down favorite contemporary of all time! One word. DAMMMN

Review: While i am not into female bashing, no matter how vile a character, the female lead here is absolutely disgusting. I am still trying to get my head around as to why would Hayden even like this girl, who just leaves without any rhyme or reason and plays around with 2 guys because she is not sure? Not at all worthy of a main lead. Two stars only and only because of that

An accidental pregnancy, a hunky hockey star, and a surprise twist you will never see coming, this swoon-worthy and heart-felt romance from bestselling author Meghan Quinn will keep you on the edge of your feet as you fall head over ice skates in love with your next book boyfriend, Hayden Holmes.

“What are you doing now that your team is out of the running for the Stanley Cup?”

Forget.

I need to forget. I need an escape.

Only one person isn’t falling for my reputation as the NHL’s Golden Boy; she captured my attention the minute she called me out for snooping through my best friend’s house. She didn’t want to hear my reason–she only wanted to playfully give me a hard time.

Adalyn is bold, sassy–and the perfect escape.

She’s everywhere. In town and in my dreams, and suddenly I need to spend every waking moment with her.

And I do, making this summer the best off-season I’ve ever had.

But in the midst of getting lost in Adalyn, what I don’t expect is to get her pregnant.

And what I definitely don’t expect is having to fight for her affection.
