Title: Beautiful Friends to Lovers Second Chance Romance 💞
Review: This Second Chance Romance is brilliantly written. It’s so full of emotion. Healing, Empathy, Passion, Sweetness, Love. You will find yourself rooting for these two from the very beginning…Grady Whitlock is a former Navy Fighter Pilot. Single Dad (Widowed) to 3 year old, Jett. Fresh out of the Navy, he moves to Sugarloaf to be closer to his family & start a new pilot business. Trying to find investors in order to fund a new updated plane is proving harder than expected and frustrations are running high. Small Town investors want to invest in a “family” man and while Grady has his son, he doesn’t have a wife or a girlfriend. Neither of which he wants. He’s too closed off & afraid to open his heart and love like that again.Addison Davis runs a non profit named “Run to Me”, a place for troubled youth. Single Mom (Widowed) to 3 year old, Elodie. A transplant from Rose Canyon, Oregon, Addy has built a new life for her & her daughter after the tragic death of her husband. Finally ready to move forward, she’s determined to start dating again, but more importantly, find a date for her friends wedding back home in Oregon. She wants to feel normal again. Not pitied by those closest to her. The dating pool however, isn’t that great…After Grady saves her from a disastrous date, they connect over drinks & dancing. It’s in those moments a plan begins to form. Fake Date one another in order to achieve their goals. Friendship is the foundation and the endgame for these two after it’s all over and their determined to ensure that happens. An extreme attraction to one another helps sell it to the those around them. An attraction that eventually combusts 🔥🔥 This hot, dirty talking alpha brings out another side of shy, quiet Addison 🥵Grady, for his part, was honest from the start. He never played games. His feelings were honest & open. You could tell he genuinely cared for Addison. The bathtub scene? SWOON 🥰 Grady is so unbelievably sweet. The complete opposite of Asher, lol 🤣And Addison, in her quiet vulnerability, understood his feelings and never judged or pushed, although she wanted so much more. She wanted forever. When faced with the end & the potential of losing her forever, it doesn’t take Grady too long to figure out he doesn’t want to live a life without her. These two were perfect for one another 🥰 Two broken hearts, two broken families & two broken dreams, full once more… Sigh 💗

Title: Grady and Addison
Review: This was a great addition to this series. It explored the effects grief has and how that differs for everyone. It was emotional while still being uplifting. There was also an underlying tone of fate and the fact that love comes when we least expect it.Grady and Addison both lost spouses in tragic ways. Grady lost his wife when his son Jett, was only 4 weeks old, suddenly to an aneurism. Now, three years later, he’s finally getting the chance to focus on his son and his new business after finishing his contract as a Navy pilot. He’s not interested in love or a relationship, he just wants to give his son the best life he can.Addison lost her husband when he tragically took a bullet for his sister. Her daughter, Elodie was still an infant at the time and she moved from Oregon to Sugarloaf to start somewhere where she wasn’t known as Isaac’s widow. After three years she’s finally ready to date again and find someone to share her life with. After a series of terrible dates, and after being rejected by donors because of his single status, Grady and Addison decide to fake date to solve all their problems. But it turns out the only thing fake about their relationship is that they keep saying it’s fake.I loved how easy the relationship between Addison and Grady was. Despite both their reservations, they were perfect for each other. They understood each other on a level nobody else would understand. I loved their kids and the blended family they made.Overall, this was a great book. There were several series cross overs and it fit well with the story. I loved the idea of two widows finding solace in one another. It was a great plot and very well written.

Title: Chili cook-off and drunk singing!
Review: Corinne Michaels has this was of creating FMC that set my soul on fire! And for that, I am eternally grateful. This book takes place after Asher and Phoebe (Book 1). It is not necessary to read book 1 first.Addison, single mother. Grady, single father. Fate could not have set this up any better. After losing her husband, Addy moves to Sugarloaf with her daughter to start a new life. Starting a business and wrapping the town around her finger. During his time in the Navy, Grady loses his wife and has to juggle surviving his country and raising a baby.Just wow. The personal growth that Addy experiences is stunning! Seeing her go from angel to 100, *bow bow bow* it is perfect. Grady, I wanted someone to knock some sense into him once or five times, but I am glad he came around. Because I am here for a small town HEA!

Title: A Great Story Of 2nd Chances at Finding Love
Review: I truly enjoyed this beautifully written story of finding love again after losing your 1st love. Corrine Michaels is a great author who knows how to make you fall in love with her characters & definitely knows how to make you laugh, cry tears of joy, & leave you wanting more stories of other characters that make an appearance in each book. I am looking forward to Rowan’s story next and more to come. Great Book I would recommend to others for sure to read.

Review: “Sleep, dove, I’ll take care of you and chase your dreams away.”Oh this book, I didn’t realize how much it was going to get me in my feels. Addison and Grady are both widows after tragedy stole their happiness way too soon.“ I never realized toddlers are literally like dealing with a hostage situation. “Grady has moved back with his son, Jett, and is trying to figure out his new normal after and basically starting all over again. His siblings are bothering him to start dating again which he has swore off and has no interest in it.After getting glimpses of Addison in Corinne’s past series, I was so delighted to catch up with her and see her find her happy ending.“You gave me something to run to.”After forming a new friendship and seeing the disastrous dates that Addison goes on, they begin to fake date to be able to complete the tasks on their own agenda.“I thought you were exquisite before, but I didn’t know the meaning of the word until now.”What starts off as fake, transforms into something beautiful as they battle their fears together. I absolutely loved their story and can’t wait to continue the series.

Review: Book title: Broken DreamsAuthor: Corrine MichaelsSeries: Whitlock Family #2Star Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫Steam Rating:🌶️🌶️🌶️Okay this was so much sweeter than I was expecting, considering it’s about 2 widower’s finding love I was expecting it to be very emotional but it was so wholesome. We first met Addy in Help Me Remember, where her husband was killed. And we met Grady in the first book of this series as he’s Asher’s brother. Grady also lost his wife suddenly. Both Addy and Grady are in Sugarloaf to start fresh. It’s been 3 years and Addy feels like she wants to start dating again, especially since she needs a date to a friend’s wedding back home. Grady is looking for investors to help him start his new business but isn’t finding anyone due to being a single parent. When Grady rescues Addy from a disastrous date, they decide to help each other out by fake dating until Grady gets an investor and they attend her friend’s wedding. Neither of them expected to catch feelings for each as much as they did.I absolutely loved this book! Grady is such a gentleman! And such a wonderful parent. Watching him with Addy and her daughter was so sweet. But man did have a dirty mouth on him 🥵I loved how their friendship/relationship progressed. Neither wanting to fall for each other but they just got along so well, they really couldn’t stay away from each other, and everything was just so natural for them. The ending was perfect! No third act break up! Their problems at the end weren’t dragged out and those last few chapters put a huge smile on my face!

What could possibly go wrong fake dating the gorgeous single dad in a small town?

The answer, you fall for him.

It started out perfect. Grady Whitlock needed a plus one for his business meetings, and I needed a date for a wedding.

We had a plan. It was a good one.

Until it wasn’t.

I was not supposed to have feelings for him. I was not going to let my heart race when his soulful blue eyes stared into mine. No way should I have noticed his smile or the dimple on his right cheek or his strong arms when he held me close. I especially wasn’t going to melt when I saw him play with my daughter.

Most of all I was not going to sleep with him.

Nope. None of that was supposed to happen, but it does.

Now I find myself dreaming of him every night. Wishing we were really a couple because the way he kisses me doesn’t feel as if it’s pretend.

But we’ve both watched our dreams shatter, and I can’t handle another broken heart.
