Jason Shah Opens Up About Breakup with Anusha Dandekar: Reveals Reasons Behind Split

Jason Shah, known for his role as Carter in the popular series ‘Heeramandi’, has recently opened up about his breakup with VJ and actor Anusha Dandekar, shedding light on the reasons behind their split.

In an interview with Times Now, Jason shared that his breakup with Anusha led to significant spiritual growth for him. He revealed that he felt the relationship was rushed and that Anusha didn’t truly understand him, leading to their eventual separation.

“It was rushed. I didn’t really think about it. The other person didn’t really understand me, and I felt they were trying to make me fit in their box. And that is not going to happen, right?” Jason explained.

The actor also highlighted the issue of miscommunication in relationships, emphasizing the importance of truly listening to one another.

For those unfamiliar with their relationship, Anusha and Jason dated briefly before parting ways in 2021. Anusha had previously been in a long-term relationship with actor Karan Kundrra before their breakup in the same year.

In a previous interview with Times of India in 2021, Jason had shared how he met Anusha and the connection they shared. “When I relaunched my sister in a music video, I was directing it and Anusha was also acting in it. That’s when we met and clicked really well. I have never met someone like her. She never judges me. We are just enjoying this phase and are spending quality time together. Anusha and I also have many common friends, and it’s fun. There is a great cosmic connection between the two of us,” he had said.

Apart from ‘Heeramandi’, Jason has also been a part of TV shows like ‘Jhansi Ki Rani’ and others.

The actor’s candid revelations about his breakup with Anusha have sparked conversations about relationships and communication in the industry and among fans.
