Surprise Proposal at Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs Game: Woodrow Wilson Middle School Teacher’s Aide Gets Engaged
Love was in the air at the Berglund Center in Roanoke, Virginia on Tuesday night as Travis Robinson surprised his long-time girlfriend, Isabella Luther, with a special proposal.
Robinson, who had originally planned to propose at Luther’s school, Roanoke’s Woodrow Wilson Middle School, had to change his plans due to the Education Day game for the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs. With the help of Luther’s colleagues, students, and the Rail Yard Dawgs, Robinson was able to pull off the surprise proposal at the end of the game.
Isabella Luther, a teacher’s aide at the middle school, was taken aback by the unexpected proposal but had a feeling that something special was about to happen. “Everybody knew, all the kids, and they kept it a nice little secret,” Robinson shared with WFXR after the proposal.
The couple first met 13 years ago on February 13, 2011, and have been in love ever since. And, to the delight of everyone present, Isabella said yes to Travis’s proposal.
It was a heartwarming moment that brought joy to all who witnessed it, proving that love truly knows no bounds.
