Well, let me introduce myself. My name is Jason and I have suffered from Angular Cheilitis for over 10 years.
I had chronic dry lips which caused Angular Cheilitis outbreaks. I always kept lip balm handy but my lips would still feel dry and cracked. I licked my lips constantly to keep them moist. The bacteria from my mouth and the dryness caused my lips to crack, blister, bleed, and hurt.
I can’t begin to explain how embarrassing I was to go out. It was not the first time that I overheard people talking about me having herpes, or some other Sexually Transmitted Diseases – behind my back! They were downright…Rude!
Did I try any conventional Angular Cheilitis treatments? I tried everything! Prescription medicine, creams, lotions, balms, pills, and even Cortisone injections (which is a steroid hormone), you name it. The results? Wasted Money!
