Chelsea Blackwell, a contestant on the hit reality show Love is Blind, has found herself in the midst of a social media storm after fans pointed out her striking resemblance to Hollywood actress Megan Fox. However, Blackwell has taken the criticism in stride and even showcased her sense of humor in response.
In a recent TikTok video, Blackwell jokingly called out to anyone who has ever told her she resembles Megan Fox, saying, “This would be a great time for the people who have ever told me that I resembled her to come forward please. I’m begging you.” She has also addressed the backlash on E! News, stating, “It’s so silly that people are so, so mad. I’m just kind of like, ‘Listen, I gotta ride this out.'”
Interestingly, Blackwell’s ex-husband, Brian Austin Green, has also weighed in on the controversy, expressing empathy for his former partner. Green shared his thoughts on E! News, saying, “I’m sure it felt really good when people were like, ‘You kind of look like Megan,’ as far as, who knows if her eye makeup or her hair that day or what was going on, so she shared it. But she shared it in a format where millions of people are watching and are judging her for it.”
The Revolve Festival, where Blackwell and other celebrities were spotted partying in the California desert, is just one of several events held during the weekend of Coachella. Despite the criticism, Blackwell seems to be taking it all in stride and embracing her newfound resemblance to the Hollywood star.
